According to the analysis of “Ranking of Chinese Patent” in September on People's Daily Online, the State Grid Corporation of China topped the Ranking of Application for Utility Model once more in September with 1,607 applications, leaving the second place far behind.

The State Grid Corporation of China has been continuously listed as the first in the applications of utility model since January of 2014, with the peak of 1,176 applications, and far exceeded other enterprises for many times. With 147 and 128 applications, Midea Group Inc. and Gree Electric Appliances Inc. of Zhuhai ranked the second and the third respectively in the September ranking.

ZTE Corporation topped the Ranking of Application for Invention with 97 applications, and Taicang Tiandida Clothing Manufacturing Factory ranked the first in the Ranking of Application for Design with 123 applications.
